If a call gets disconnected it is the player's responsibility to call again and to make sure he/she received all his/her bets or to cancel bets. Play back of the recording settles all claims and disputes. Management's decision is final.

- Las Vegas wagering rules will apply to any situations not covered herein.
Highest/Lowest Team Total:
- Wagers on Highest Team Total or Lowest Team Total will stand ("have action") only if games are played on the scheduled dates and at the scheduled sites, as listed on the VanderSports™.com Web site.
- If teams tie for the highest team total, the winner will be the team with the greatest winning margin (least points scored by the opposition). If the winning margins are also equal, all wagers on the tied teams will be graded as winners.
- If teams tie for the lowest team total, the winner will be the team with the greatest losing margin (most points scored by the opposition). If the losing margins are also equal, all wagers on the tied teams will be graded as winners.

NCAA Football Conference Championship Futures Rules:
- If the conference has an official championship game, the winner of the championship game is deemed to have won that conference.
- If the conference has co-champions, the first team picked by the BCS is graded as a winner, and all other teams are losers. If a conference has co-champions, and no team is picked by the BCS, ALL team wagers will be graded as "No action" and refunded.
- For divisional odds within conferences, the team participating in the conference championship game will be considered to have won that division.

Basketball:
Minimum Time for Action:
- NBA games must go at least 43 minutes to have action.
- College and WNBA basketball games must go at least 35 minutes to have action.
- For wagers on periods (quarters and halfs) the minimum time is considered to be the duration of the period. If the entire game is not completed, wagers on quarters and halfs will have action if the relevant period was completed.
- For wagering purposes, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided that the game has gone the minimum time as specified above. If a game is suspended after the minimum time has been played and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will determine the betting results.
- If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be scored as 'no action' and all monies refunded.

- These rules apply to both college and professional basketball.
- A NBA basketball team must play all 82 games for wagers on its season wins to have action.
- Las Vegas wagering rules will apply to any situations not covered herein.

Baseball:
General:
- When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.
- Wagers on total runs will be refunded if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.
- Rules for Run Line and Alternate Run Line wagers are the same as those for baseball totals.
- The result of a game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4 ½ innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.
- VanderSports™.com does not recognize postponed games, protests or overturned decisions for wagering purposes. All baseball wagers must go the day written, otherwise there is no action and all monies are refunded.
- Money-line wagers on baseball will be accepted in the following manner:
- Action: Team against team, regardless of the starting pitchers.
- Listed Pitchers: If both starting pitchers are not exactly as specified at the time of the bet, the wager will be deemed "no action".
- One Listed Pitcher: This is a wager on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. If the specified pitcher does not start, the wager is deemed "no action".
- In the event there is a pitching change prior to the game, the money-line will be re-adjusted and "action" wagers will be graded using the opening price for the new pitcher.
- A pitcher is deemed a starter after throwing the first pitch to the opponent's first batter.
- Wagers on totals and run-lines must always specify both pitchers listed.
- Double header games are denoted as Game1 or Game2. Members may list pitchers in a double header, however, wagers are taken on games, not pitchers. If a scheduled pitcher does not go in his scheduled game of a double header but in the other game, wagers are graded based on the Game, not on the pitcher.
- A baseball team must play at least 160 games for wagers on its season wins to have action.
First-Half Wagers (5 innings):
- All wagers on baseball first halfs (5 innings) will be decided on the basis of the score at the end of five (5) full innings.
- If a game does not go five full innings, all first-half wagers (5 innings) will be canceled.
- Once 5 full innings have been completed, all wagers on the first half (5 innings) will stand.
- All first-half wagers (5 innings) must list both pitchers. If either listed pitcher does not start, wagers on the first half (5 innings) will be canceled.
- No hookups of a first-half line and its respective parent game are accepted.
Grand Salami:
- The Grand Salami will be decided by the total runs scored in all major-league games scheduled for that day.
- All scheduled games must go at least 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before the completion of 8 ½ innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be canceled.
- No pitchers will be listed for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.
MLB Runs, Hits and Errors (MLB R-H-E):
- All MLB R-H-E wagers will be graded using the sum of Runs, Hits and Errors as grading factors. For example:
| |
Runs |
Hits |
Errors |
| SFO |
2 |
6 |
3 |
| LOS |
14 |
14 |
0 |
will result in a MLB R-H-E score of Giants 11, Dodgers 24
- When wagering on MLB R-H-E totals (over/under) or MLB R-H-E spreads, the game must go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie in the bottom half of the inning in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called. With MLB R-H-E money lines the game must go 4 ¼ if the home team is ahead or 5 innings if the home team is not ahead after 4 ½ innings.
- For all MLB R-H-E wagers both listed pitchers must start. A pitcher is deemed a starter after throwing the first pitch to the opponent's first batter. If a listed pitcher doesn't start all monies will be refunded.
- Double header games are denoted as Game1 or Game2. Members may list pitchers in a double header, however, wagers are taken on games, not pitchers. If a scheduled pitcher does not go in his scheduled game of a double header but in the other game, wagers are graded based on the Game, not on the pitcher.
MLB Prop Rules:
- On any proposition bet, the player must either throw one pitch, or have one plate appearance in the designated game for the wager to have action.
- On any proposition bet, the game must go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) to have action.
- The listed pitchers must start the game for any props to have action.
- On any prop involving more than one game, all games affecting the outcome of the prop must go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) to have action.
- For head to head match ups between players, both players must start the game for the prop to have action.
- On Total Bases Propositions, the listed pitchers and both players must start. A batter is only credited for bases if he hits a single (1), a double (2), a triple (3) or a home run (4). A walk, hit by pitch, error, balk or passed ball do not count. The batter must hit the ball and make it to first base without an error being committed. If he hits a single, for example, and makes it further than first on an error, he is only credited with a single (1 base).
- Pitcher propositions "Total Runs Allowed" include both earned and unearned runs.
- Any MLB proposition using the phrase "innings pitched" will be graded using the box score number.
MLB Futures: Player vs Player Season Props:
- For baseball player vs. player season props, if either or both players start the season on the disabled list, not on the active roster or is sent to the minors, wagers have no action.
Baseball Series Wagers:
- Wagers on baseball series are based on the first three games played of each series.
- At least two of the first three series games must be played for wagers to have action.
- If only one of the first three games is postponed or canceled, series wagers stand as written.
- If two of the first three games are postponed or canceled, all wagers on that series will be graded as No Action and the monies refunded.
- A called game will count toward a series wager provided it is officially declared a regulation game.
- Pitchers cannot be listed for series wagers; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.

Hockey:
General:
- Unless otherwise stated, all wagers include any overtime and shootouts played. The team that wins a shootout is credited with an additional goal.
Minimum time for action:
- Games must go a minimum of 55 minutes for action. If a game is suspended before 55 complete minutes are played, all bets on the outcome of the game are refunded.
Minimum time for action on periods:
- The specific period must be played in its entirety for bets to stand. Otherwise, all bets on the period are refunded.
- Goals in overtime or the shootout do not count toward bets on the 3rd period.
Home Goals vs Away Goals and Grand Salami:
- The Home Goals vs Away Goals and Grand Salami will be decided by the total goals scored in all games scheduled in the given league for the given day. All scheduled games must play to completion. If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before completion (3 full periods, and full overtime or shootout as necessary), all wagers on the Home Goals vs Away Goals and the Grand Salami will be canceled. Goals scored in overtime, plus one goal if there is a shootout, will be counted.
Player Propositions:
- For Total Player Points, both goals and assists are included. Only goals or assists scored during regulation time and overtime are counted. For grading purposes, goals scored during a shootout are not included.

Auto Racing:
Postponements:
- If a race or qualifier is postponed for any reason, all wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
NASCAR Races:
- The Official NASCAR winner of the race shall be the winner of the race for wagering purposes; this includes all races which are halted prematurely for any reason.
- In head-to-head match ups, both drivers must start the race in order for the wager to be considered "action".
- If a starting driver who has completed at least one lap is replaced during the race by another driver for any reason, the starting driver will be awarded the finishing driver's position at the end of the race.
- Disqualifications that occur more than 30 minutes after the race has ended are not recognized for wagering purposes.
NASCAR Qualifiers:
- For qualifying match ups, only the times posted during the qualifying session are used.
- If a driver starts a lap but does not post a time, the driver is deemed to finish last, losing to all drivers who post a time. If more than one driver starts a lap but does not post a time, all such drivers are tied.
- If a driver does not cross the start line, all wagers that specify that driver are considered "no action".
- Disqualifications that occur more than 30 minutes after the qualifying session has ended are not recognized for wagering purposes.
- If the two drivers in a wagering match up post the same time to the nearest thousandth of a second, the match up will be graded as No Action and all monies refunded. In this situation, the starting positions assigned by NASCAR are not relevant for wagering purposes.
- Wagering lines on qualifying match ups will be considered closed at the start of the first practice. Any wagers made after the start of the first practice session will be graded as No Action and all monies refunded.

Golf:
General:
- If the start of a round is delayed, or if play during a round is suspended, all pending wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all pending wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
- Wagers on a golfer who does not play in the tournament are graded as No Action, and all monies refunded.
- A golfer is deemed to have played once he or she has teed off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off, wagers on that player will be lost.
- Wagers will be settled using the official tournament and match results (including final match correct score and individual match betting). This includes a match which finishes early, either by agreement of the players or because of injury.
Outright Betting:
- The "Field" includes all players not offered by name.
- All outright bets are settled on the player winning the trophy. The result of play-offs is taken into account.
- If a tournament does not go the specified number of completed holes (usually 72) and is shortened by the tournament officials, the leader at the end of the number of holes specified by the officials will be the winner, unless there is no further play or only part of a round completed after a bet has been placed, in which case that bet will be canceled.
- In the event that two or more golfers are tied for the lead at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff is normally used to determine the winner of the tournament. In this case, the winner of the playoff is the winner for betting purposes. All other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers.
- In the event of a tie for a finishing position, the tied position will count; for example, if five players tie for eighth place, all five will be considered to have finished eighth.
- In some tournaments, tournament officials may have the individuals play a specified number of playoff holes to determine the tournament winner. In this case, the golfer with the lowest score after completing the specified number of holes will be declared the winner, and all other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers.
Match ups:
- In head-to-head match ups, both golfers must tee off in order to have action.
- Players are paired for betting purposes only. The player with the lower score over the entire tournament is the match up winner.
- Settlement will be on the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament. If the number of rounds played is reduced, as in the case of bad weather, bets stand providing that an official tournament winner is declared.
- If one player misses the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut, the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine the winner.
- If a player is disqualified or withdraws after starting, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner.
- If a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when the other player in the match bet has already missed the cut, the disqualified player will be considered the winner.

Boxing:
- When the bell sounds to begin the first round, the bout will be considered official for betting purposes, regardless of the scheduled length or title.
- If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds the bout will last will be graded as "No Action".
- Each round is three minutes in duration; a half-round is defined as ninety seconds.
- For wagering purposes, the disqualification of a boxer during a match will be counted as a knockout by his opponent.
- If the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on both fighters will be lost. If the wagering offer includes only the two boxers, with the draw either not offered or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, wagers on either fighter will be refunded.
- Unless otherwise specified, matches must go within thirty days of the scheduled date for wagers to have action.
- In situations not covered by the previous rules, the wagering decision announced by the Don Best Sports information service will be considered official and binding.
- Las Vegas wagering rules will be used for any situation not covered herein.

Tennis:
Retirement or Disqualification:
- Match ups:
Two full sets must be completed for wagers to stand. Less than 2 sets completed - all wagers will be considered void.
- Sets Betting:
If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all Set wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
- Proposition Betting:
If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all Prop wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded, with some exceptions pertaining to the completion of an individual set.
Delay or Suspension:
- If a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.
- In the event a match does not go the specified number of sets, and the match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader determined to be official by tournament officials shall be the winner.
Futures Betting:
- All futures bets have action. Should a player withdraw before a tournament begins, bets on that player to win the tournament lose.
Change of Venue or Playing Surface:
- If the venue or playing surface for a match is changed, the wagering odds for match bets will be adjusted. Match bets placed at the pre-adjustment odds are void. Futures wagers will stand.

Soccer:
- If the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on both teams will be lost.
- Soccer kickoff dates and times displayed on our Web site are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If it is unclear as to whether bets should stand or be refunded because of a postponement, VanderSports™.com will follow the wagering decision announced by the Don Best Sports information service.
- Unless otherwise specified, wagers on the outcome of a match will be decided on regulation time only. This includes two halves of play and any time the referee adds on to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time nor penalty shootouts.
- If a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed the same day, wagers on the outcome of the match are considered void and all stakes shall be returned. Wagers on propositions that have not been decided shall also be voided and stakes returned. Wagers on propositions that have been decided (examples include, but are not limited to: first goal scorer, if a goal has been scored; first half wagering, if the first half is complete; first card, if a player has been sent off or booked) will be settled and paid.
- A match must reach full time for wagers on the total number of goals scored in the match to be valid.
- Should there be a dispute over a proposition (examples include, but are not limited to: name of the first goal scorer; time of a goal) wagers will be settled and paid based on the wagering decision announced by the Don Best Sports information service.
- Wagers on the first half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the first half. If the first half is not completed, wagers shall be void and stakes returned.
- Wagers on the second half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the second half. Extra periods, golden goals, and shootouts are not included in second half wagering. Goals scored in the first half do not count toward the second half wager.
The match must reach full time for second half wagers to stand.
- Bets on teams to qualify or to advance to the next round of a competition:
Bets are paid out on the referee's final whistle at the match's natural conclusion, whether the match is decided in regular time, extra time, or in a penalty shootout. Extra time and penalty shootouts are always included for betting purposes.
In a one-leg match all bets have action once the match kicks off. If the referee abandons a one-leg match (for reasons including, but not limited to: crowd disturbances, unplayability of the pitch, or one team not having enough players to continue) bets will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body. Bets will stand while the governing body considers the circumstances of the abandonment and determines what remedy is to be taken (including, but no limited to: forfeiture, resumption of play at a later time, or a replay). If a team is disqualified before the match kicks off, all bets are void. If the rules prescribe a replay for a drawn match, all bets stand for the replay.
In a two-leg match, all bets have action once the second leg kicks off, provided that the first leg has not been ruled a forfeit. If the first leg is ruled a forfeit, all bets on teams ‘to qualify’ or ‘to advance’ are void. If the second leg is abandoned, all bets remain valid and will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body.

Rules at VanderSports™.com Racebook:
For your peace of mind, we have the following rules for horses wagering:
Specifying Horses and Races:
- Horses are identified by saddlecloth number, not by name.
- Customers are responsible for their selections of both horse and race numbers.
- When you wager on a horse that is coupled, your wager includes all horses running under said number. If a horse is coupled with others, if you bet on any of them, you receive all horses running as part of the entry. If part of an entry is scratched and part of an entry runs, all wagers have action. There is no "must go" action as part of the entry. If one of the entry horses runs, all wagers and bet types have action.
- Wagers are accepted until post time. If a wager is made after the race has begun, it will not be accepted. We do not assume liability for wagers that are unsuccessfully entered before post time.
Scratches:
- If a horse is scratched, all Win/Place/Show wagers will be refunded and the portion of Exacta/Trifecta Combos that contain the scratched horse will be refunded.
- For Daily Doubles, if a horse is scratched before the second leg, a consolation will be paid on that combo, as specified by track payouts.
- For Pick 3's and Pick 4's, if a horse is scratched in any leg, you will receive the track favorite or any consolation payoffs.

Limits & Payouts
Odds and Limits:
There is a maximum net profit on each individual race based on the track category. Daily Doubles, Pick 3's and Pick 4's count towards the last race in its sequence when calculating the race profit. The formula will be Net Profit equals Net Payout For Race minus Total Amount Wagered For Race. This resets for every individual race.
There is a $500 limit, per horse per bet type for show bets. Any wager placed above this amount will be considered "No Action".
There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded.
If a track is on our betting menu, but not listed on the Horse Track Categories, the Maximum Net Profits defaults to $5,000.
If the track payout on a race pays to ALL on Trifectas, pays out 2 of 3 on a Pick 3, or 3 or 4 on a Pick 4, and BTW Bet The World client’s wager has the exact ticket, the customer will be paid out the whole minus the takeout percentage. If pool information is not available, the payout will be 3x’s the consolation payout period. If take out information is not available, it will default to 20%. If paid out to the whole pool, consolation payouts on the same rates will not apply. All normal tracks limits are still applicable.
Any attempt to play negative pool hedges will result in account suspension.
